CEW Clinic Digital Patient Engagement

Prescribing Services Ltd have been centrally contracted by NHSE to support the CEW patient dashboard. Part of this service is to provide the functionality that allows your clinic patients to complete their pre-assessment questionnaires through a digital support service. Prescribing Services Ltd is an accredited NHS service for digital patient engagement and has already received IG sign off for data integration with your NHS Trust.

The patients will receive a text that enables them to access an accredited secure online patient portal to complete their questionnaires.

This platform is fully integrated into the CEW dashboard, which will display their questionnaire scores and answers.

A user guide on how to implement this service is available and additional online training can be offered where preferred.

CLINIC TO SELECT AND SEND QUESTIONNAIRES VIA THE DASHBOARD - - This involves manual digital patient engagement – this enables authorised users to send the required questionnaires directly to the patient via their NHSPathways Patient Portal. Users can select which questionnaire(s) they wish to send and do so in a live environment. The patients receive the questionnaires via a digital link and can complete the questionnaires at home. A user guide is available for this process).

TOTAL DIGITAL ENGAGEMENT OF ALL ELIGIBLE PATIENTS - The ability to send the questionnaire to all patients without a recent questionnaire completed. PSL will send age-appropriate questionnaires to all your patients who have not completed a mandatory questionnaire within the last 3 months.

PATIENTS CAN ACCESS THEIR QUESTIONNAIRES THROUGH NHSCONNECT.ORG - By entering the patients NHS Number and date of birth onto a clinic tablet, the age-appropriate questionnaires can be completed in clinic/waiting areas.

CLINIC TO USE THEIR OWN CURRENT METHOD OF PATIENT QUESTIONNAIRE COMPLETION AND MANUALLY ENTER THE INDIVIDUAL PATIENT RESPONSES ONTO THE DASHBOARD (DASHBOARD WILL CONVERT SCORES AUTOMATICALLY) - This requires an administrator to systematically enter questionnaire results onto the NHSPathways Patient Portal.
