We would like to take this opportunity to congratulate and thank your practice for its participation in the Complete Lipid Detection & Optimisation Programme, part of the Your Healthier Future cardiovascular prevention initiative. The results achieved through your efforts and dedication have been outstanding, improving patient outcomes and enhancing lipid optimisation across Cambridgeshire & Peterborough.  

Since the programme's initiation in August 2024, there has been exceptional engagement, both from patients and practices: 

• Over 7,000 patients successfully contacted via SMS 

• More than 4,800 patient questionnaires completed 

• Over 2,000 positive patient outcomes, including: 

• 1,232 successfully initiated on lipid-lowering therapy 

• A further 627 awaiting prescription and 145 requiring updated LFTs 

• Over 600 patients interested in finding out more about lipid lowering therapy before starting  

Practices participating in the Complete Programme have demonstrated significantly better outcomes, as displayed in the project overview.
